Annotated Bibliography on the Mekong

The Mekong is the focus of wide-ranging debates over development strategy, governance, legal issues, and environmental management. This bibliography has been compiled by a team of experts actively involved in issues affecting the region. The entries include works not only in English and European languages but also in Burmese, Japanese, Mandarin, Thai, and Vietnamese, with publication details and commentary on more than a thousand titles across a range of subject areas covering history, culture, natural resources, economics, social issues, politics, and security. There are also more than 200 additional entries on other bibliographies, journals, multimedia titles, web sites, and organizations working in the area.
